Brown Noise

Brown noise — also called red noise — rolls off the high frequencies more steeply than pink, about 6 decibels per octave. What is left is a deep, low rumble, the kind of sound you get from a waterfall, heavy surf, or the cabin of a plane in flight. It is the warmest and least “hissy” of the noise colors.
