Pink Noise
Audio is synthesized live in your browser โ nothing is downloaded. Press play to start.
Pink noise puts more energy in the low frequencies and less in the highs, dropping about 3 decibels per octave as it rises. That makes it sound fuller and softer than white noise โ closer to steady rain, wind moving through trees, or a distant waterfall. It is many people's go-to because it is easy to have on in the background for a long time.
Want it even deeper, or brighter? Brown noise cuts the highs further for a low rumble, and White keeps every frequency for a fuller hiss. Switch between them above without stopping playback.
The noise colors
- White โ Flat, full hiss.
- Pink โ Balanced, softer.
- Brown โ Deep low rumble.
- Blue โ Bright, airy hiss.
- Green โ Mid-focused.
Every color here is generated from scratch with the Web Audio API the moment you press play โ there are no sound files to load and nothing leaves your device. That is also why it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
